Bar Readers’ Course

The Association’s information about the Bar Readers’ Course is continuously being updated but the best preliminary resource is the Course Handbook (link provided below).  Thereafter, please contact the Course Co-ordinator (Nicola Julius) at brc@sabar.org.au if you are interested in undertaking the Course or have any questions about its requirements.

 

Information Night

 

An Information Night for persons interested in joining the independent referral Bar in South Australia and undertaking the Bar Readers’ Course will be held on Thursday 25 February 2021 at 5:30pm at Jeffcott Chambers (24 Flinders Street, Adelaide).

If you wish to attend, please email brc@sabar.org.au by Tuesday 23 February.  If you are unable to attend but would like further information, please contact the Course Co-ordinator.

Applications

 

Applications to undertake the Bar Readers’ Course in 2021 need to be received by Friday 19 March 2021.  Please see the Application Form for further details.

The Course will commence in late May 2021.

NOTE: The Association cannot guarantee that it will be able to accommodate all applicants in the next available Course, including ETAC, and, to the extent that it might be necessary, priority will be given to applicants in order of the date that their application is accepted and/or received.
